Making Appointments

Appointments are strongly recommended, and they are made starting two weeks in advance. Appointments are not required, but there may be a waiting time before being seen (depending on the urgency of your symptoms or provider availability at the time you walk in). Urgent cases are seen immediately after nurse triage. Non-appointment cases are seen in order of severity, which is based on nurse triage.

Physician office visits are available by appointment only. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners are available by appointment for GYN and general medical care. Registered nurses are available during regular clinic hours.

Medical Records

All medical records and clinical consultations are strictly confidential. Medical records cannot be released without the written consent of the student patient.

Appointment Cancellation and Fees

If an appointment must be cancelled, students should notify the Health Clinic at least 24 hours in advance.

Due to high patient demand and limited availability of appointments, Student Health Services will resume its No-Show fee beginning July 1, 2012. In order to avoid the fee, patients must call to cancel or reschedule their appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

The No-Show Fee schedule will be as follows:
